More junk  (2011)  by Mary

Sometimes, while you clean or make improvements, you also make a mess. That is what happened to one of our buildings. As we cleaned up places, we used it to store junk - in and behind it. Larry searched and found a nice couple who came out and hauled it away for us. Twice. But it continued to grow. Then Todd removed boards from that building to repair another building, and exposed all its ugliness. Someday, we will raze it, and possibly build something new.

Larry arranged for it all to be hauled away a third time, and the couple came to do it on our first full day of vacation at the farm. Todd & Larry hurriedly removed a large feeder and a waterer that were nearly buried in the ground, and gathered up other things so we would be completely rid of everything.

Things learned:
1. No need to fret because we forgot a small pile of junk.
2. Because we continued to find more junk.
3. We'll most likely always find junk.
JUNK!  JUNK!  JUNK!

A waterer nearly buried in the ground.

Rusted bed frames and a stationary bike from the barn loft.

Todd removed boards from that building to repair another building, and exposed all its ugliness.

Loaded and ready to go.
